The Crooked Bonsai operates by appointment only. We do not accept walk-ins. Every piece we do is custom, which means real time goes into the design before your artist ever picks up a machine. Appointment-only booking lets each artist give their full attention to one client at a time, rather than splitting focus across a busy walk-in schedule.
If you're interested in getting tattooed, the first step is reaching out to book a consultation with the artist you'd like to work with. From there, your session will be scheduled once the design is ready.

Getting started is simple. Reach out to your desired artist individually through their “learn more” button on our Artists page.

Pricing varies by artist, since each one sets their own rates based on style, experience, and demand. Rather than billing by the hour, most sessions at The Crooked Bonsai are booked by the day.
Because pricing isn't one-size-fits-all, the best way to get an accurate quote is to consult directly with the artist you'd like to work with. A deposit is required to book your session, which goes toward the final cost of your piece.

Recently we have been the target of scams involving the impersonation of artists as well as the taking of deposits over social media (TIK TOK, Instagram).
Each of our artists schedule differently and can be reached through the channels provided on our artists page.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Tatto aftercare is a breeze these days. While each of our artists practice their own form of aftercare, most use some sort of derm shield.
Some common rules: Keep it clean, avoid direct sunlight and restrict movement of the tattooed area.
Contact your artist personally and follow their directions to take care of your new tattoo properly.
